She's Gotta Have It & A Discount to Boot!

Ti_creme_bigSticking with our fashion week kick: LA-based Contributing Writer Dena Smolek is keeping tabs on the eco fashion scene for us. Here is her latest wearable obsession - San Francisco indie label She-Bible is among a growing (not quite as rapidly as I would like, but growing) group of contemporary designers choosing to go green with eco-conscious fabric choices. Designers Deirdre O’Boyle and Stacy Rodgers produce the line locally in SF and supply cozy yet stylish fashions to a plethora of fab boutiques including Sirens and Sailors and Diavolina in Los Angeles, as well as Doe and Brown Eyed Girl in SF. The Treasure Island Tee and Frankie Hoodie are among the casual-chic eco offerings from the current collection. I am totally smitten with this eco-friendly tee - the gathered puff sleeves are adorable. Made from organic cotton and bamboo, and offered in a well-chosen array of solid hues like cypress green, black, vermilion red and cream, these pieces are great basics with subtle details. And they are supremely comfortable, which is one of the major reasons this line is becoming so popular. Also check out the Mission Mini Dress. The style-savvy gals plan to add more bamboo styles, soy and other eco fabrics to the line in the near future. I got a sneak peek at the upcoming Spring collection a few weeks ago and I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of the eco pieces. Shop the fall collection now and enjoy 25% percent off purchases through Nov 7 by entering the coupon code ECOFAB at checkout!
